Ingredients

1 cup Blue Ribbon® White Rice
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 tsps soy sauce
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 pkg (42 oz.) Chicken Chow Mein BiPack Dinner, drain vegetables
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
peanuts
green onion, sliced

Cooking Directions

Prepare rice according to package directions, using chicken broth as cooking liquid and adding the garlic and soy sauce. Keep warm.

While the rice cooks, heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the onion and asparagus for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the drained vegetables, gravy and crushed red pepper to the onion and asparagus. Heat until hot and bubbly, about 5 minutes.

Serve over rice and garnish with peanuts and green onions.
